Everyone’s story is unique, and ATS recognizes that an individual is NOT someone in need of changing WHO THEY ARE. We are honored to simply be the support on an individual’s journey to discovering and becoming their true self.
Our history and experience providing behavioral health treatment with a strong family systems approach proves effective in assessment and treatment of persons with autism in creating sustainable change.

ATS provides services in home and community-based settings, offering observation, support and treatment in a familiar environment during times that are convenient for individuals and their families.
Using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), assessments are conducted and treatment plans are written based on strengths, needs, abilities and preferences. A variety of techniques are used to shape behaviors of social significance and enhance an individual’s abilities, all delivered in a respectful and meaningful way.
Decades of research support the use of ABA across the lifespan, from early childhood through adulthood. Data is collected across sessions and settings, and progress is frequently reviewed with the family and team members in order to ensure that we consistently target areas of concern and new skill acquisition while meeting individuals and families where they are.
ATS invests in training and professional development that will assist team members to provide effective evidence-based practice. Committed to an uplifting, welcoming and empowering culture, ATS creates progressive career paths in order for our employees to grow within our organization with the end goal of creating consistency for individuals, families, and communities we are fortunate to serve. Working at Achieving True Self as a BCBA in Maryland has been a great experience and I cannot express how happy I am to have found them. Due to COVID, I am currently able to do mostly telehealth work and do in-person as needed. Prior to COVID, there was also flexibility to be able to work remotely if the client has a particular insurance. I have been able to receive continuing education credits through in-house trainings and am supported by a Clinical Director for any clinical needs/questions. Leadership truly cares about staff and puts together events for staff members throughout the year. The company as a whole cares deeply about our clients and their families, but that doesn't mean they lack in caring about the employees. I haven't felt this supported in any of my previous workplaces. I will say that the only difficult thing at times can be getting consistent hours due to cancellations; however, with that being said, it is more the nature of in-home work and not the company itself. The most enjoyable part of the job is being able to have a manageable caseload and making a difference in their lives.
I have worked for ATS as an RBT for quite awhile. So glad to have found ATS! They are in it for the right reasons! They truly care about the clients, families, and staff. I have worked for other ABA companies who only care about the billing and not the progress the children are making. ATS is not this way. I 100 percent would choose ATS if my children needed services.
I've worked with ATS as an RBT for a year and I have had more opportunities to grow as a professional in one year than ever before. I truly feel like my needs, as well as the needs of my clients and their families, are taken seriously and met with sincerity and follow-ups to see if anything more can be done. My favorite thing about the company is that there are a multitude of ways to get involved and expand our knowledge of ABA and other interests as well!
Absolutely such an amazing company to work for they are so employee-based, and they make you feel so welcome! ATS is truly one big FAMILY! They make your voice feel heard they respect and appreciate employee feedback! They make wonderful accommodations for employees with food allergies and others.
