Emily graduated from West Virginia University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and a minor in Child Development and Family Studies in 2017. It was at WVU where she found the field of behavior analysis through the Intensive Autism Service Delivery clinic which was overseen by Dr. Susannah Poe. She then pursued a Masters of Science degree in Behavior Analysis from Simmons University in Boston, MA in 2019 while pursuing her BCBA certification. She passed her board certification exam in February of 2020. Emily then came to ATS in May of 2020 as a BCBA primarily serving in the North Central WV and Western Maryland regions. Since beginning her journey at ATS, her passion has been to increase the access of ABA services to children and families across the state of WV. She has also worked on the WE Develop ABA Grant Coalition, met and helped form the WV Applied Behavior Analysis State Association and increased community outreach and education of Applied Behavior Analysis. Emily has since been promoted to Clinical Director where she will continue to serve West Virginia and Western Maryland regions of ATS. Emily currently resides in Bridgeport, WV with her fiance, Chris and two dogs (a black German shepherd named Mila and a yellow labrador puppy named Memphis).
Fun Fact(s) About Emily: In her freetime, she enjoys gardening, riding in her Jeep Wrangler on sunny days, going to their local farmers market, drinking iced coffees and taking the dogs out to her fiance's family farm! Emily also has her black belt in martial arts.
