This has been a long time coming for our team – if we are honest, since 8/29/16, the day that Achieving True Self was founded.
Last summer, we began searching for new office space in the Irwin area. In our search, we happened to stumble across an ad online for the former Pennsylvania Avenue School, which then became Golden Heights.
When our team first entered the building, we could see the vision come alive in our heads. It has been a long-term goal for our team to create a center for achievement in every region we serve – a place that would serve as a “one stop shop” if you will for all supports and services that an individual might need throughout the lifespan when struggling with the complications of a diagnosis or disability.
We wanted to provide a safe, thriving, positive, and energetic space for learning, with the goal of those individuals then taking those skills out into their communities and living their best life.
Services currently include Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), IBHS, and school training and consultation options (including antibullying programs). Within the next year, we will add occupational therapy, speech therapy, Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), intellectual disability (IDD) waiver services, adult autism services, and MORE.
The time has come for the GRAND OPENING of the first (of what will be many, mark our words!) ATS Center for Achievement, located at 1015 Pennsylvania Avenue in Irwin!
JOIN US on April 22, 2021 at 11:30AM for our ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Norwin Chamber! Stay with us for a (socially distanced and safe!) afternoon with refreshments, giveaways, tours, and activities. All are welcome, but please be sure to RSVP to support@achievingtrueself.com so we can safely monitor attendance.
